This year feels so bittersweet for our family. After spending two years living in Atlanta, we are entering into our final year in a city that has shaped us in so many ways. Atlanta has been such a meaningful part of our story. My son took his first steps here, my daughter discovered her voice, and this blog was created right in the middle of it all.
Atlanta is such a beautiful city with so much to explore, and we want to be intentional about savoring this last year. To do that, we’ve created an Atlanta bucket list filled with experiences and adventures that reflect what we’ve loved most about calling this place home.
Why a Bucket List Matters
Our bucket list isn’t just about visiting popular spots or checking off attractions. It’s about intentionally appreciating the people, places, and moments that have made this city feel like home for us. It’s a reminder to slow down, explore, and create lasting memories before we turn the page to a new chapter.

Making Memories
This list is our guide, but the joy will come from the moments we don’t plan: spontaneous ice cream dates, and cool mornings exploring new corners of the city. It’s the small everyday experiences that will stay with us long after we leave. As we walk through our final year in Atlanta, our goal is simply to enjoy every moment.
I’d love to hear from you! If you’ve ever had to say goodbye to a place that felt like home, what’s one memory you’ll always carry with you?
